Hello there. My initial setup: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/7L7qdH. Now I’m facing a challenge. Because of a rough launch of MW3 2023, I switched to playing older MW3 multiplayer games. But I hit a big issue. No matter what I try, I can’t exceed 80fps—this build seems more than capable, but it caps at that level, making the game feel sluggish and almost unplayable. The same happens with MW2. I tested on my 6650xt and an old R7 260 using the latest drivers; they worked perfectly with no stutters. My brother’s GTX1650 with a Ryzen 5 2600 ran smoothly, no lag at all. But on my 6650xt, it just doesn’t work. Could there be something wrong? I’ve read that AMD might not support these older titles or maybe they don’t prioritize support in certain cases, but I can’t find any confirmation. Singleplayer campaigns are fine—everything runs smoothly, 144hz is ideal, no stutters. Multiplayer, however, is a different story. Battlefield 4 is a bit better but still has problems. Any advice or information about this issue? Thanks in advance!

i came across it somewhere and honestly found it quite absurd to even acknowledge. but when i tried to launch a game from 2011, it popped up in my "stupid" head. the truth is, my brother's 1650 can hit 144hz in the 3rd edition of 2011, while my more powerful 6650xt manages around 90fps. at least i remember hearing about DDU and reinstalling drivers, but still, i don’t know what issue could exist.
