Hi, thank you for joining. I'm new to overclocking and seeking some guidance. I haven't adjusted any settings in the BIOS; I've relied on Overdrive to achieve the desired results. My system is running at 4.3ghz, and after an hour of stress testing, it passed without issues. I'm concerned about the two voltage readings shown in the attached photo—am I safe with these values or are they too high? Any advice would be really appreciated. Also, just a note, I'm using a Gigabyte 970 gaming motherboard.

But seriously make sure your thermal margin stays within the safe zone. And always do a second readout to verify the first one.
Luckily I have an Intel chip so I don’t have to rely just on Overdrive and my BIOS.

It's a bit high on the scale, but some 8350 users report similar numbers and it seems normal. Would it remain stable if you manually set it to 1.3V? Also, how are your temperatures looking? The core voltage. The Voltage identifier might be greater than your core voltage, which you should notice in your BIOS.
Voltage adjustment is quite high for a modest 4.3GHz boost, but not really harmful. It’s usually unnecessary in most situations. For speeds up to 1.38V is typical, anything above 1.4V is excessive. There’s no point raising the voltage unnecessarily. As mentioned, stress temperatures matter more than the voltage itself. The CPU-Z tool can display your real load voltage during stress. Also, make sure the turbo core is fully disabled. Overdrive works well for testing overclocks via BIOS—boosting to 4.3GHz should take only a few clicks, and keeping the board’s voltage at auto will likely suffice around 1.35V.
I've successfully achieved a core voltage of 1.344V and it remains stable during the stress test. The VID is at 1.3000, which seems acceptable. Should I lower the NB VID? Thanks for the many questions—I'm just beginning overclocking, so I'm a total newbie!
