I plan to boost my Fx 8350 and Gigabyte Windforce hd 7970 graphics cards to higher speeds. I’m confident about the graphics but less so about the CPU performance. Are you certain you need to overclock the processor for that GPU? You should examine the CPU load while playing your most intense games. If it stays below 100%, overclocking won't be necessary.
