Hey! I was getting ready for the upcoming Windows 11 upgrade and noticed my Ryzen 5 2600x should work fine. I checked the BIOS, enabled AMD fTPM, restarted, and entered system recovery. It kept saying it couldn’t run Winload.efi. I tried resetting everything and it worked perfectly—though I thought maybe Windows 10 wasn’t fully compatible because it was installed without fTPM. Recently, I burned a Windows 11 ISO to test compatibility, but after turning fTPM back on, the installation CD wouldn’t boot at all. The manual for my motherboard suggested getting a TPM module, but I read online that Ryzen CPUs already had TPM 2.0 built-in. Could a BIOS update be needed? Thanks for your understanding! Tristan

Secureboot operates in a secure boot mode. After enabling the fTPM, you should install the factory keys.

Secure boot disabled. Attempted to enable standard mode, activated FTPM, restarted, but system entered recovery mode.

I expanded my investigation and found that Gigabyte software may clash with fTPM. I plan to update my BIOS and remove all Gigabyte programs (including RGB TT). After completing these steps, I’ll apply the update and see if it resolves the issue! https://community.amd.com/t5/processors/...d-p/155436

It functioned properly! After clearing out the unnecessary data and updating the BIOS, fTPM operates smoothly. I'm currently transitioning to Windows 11.
