Hey there! I'm switching from Intel to AMD hardware, which means my current motherboard and CPUs are Intel-based. I'm looking into whether the RAM I found would fit on an Intel platform. I was wondering if the default RAM settings would function properly without needing the overclocking profile. It seems the new RAM isn't listed in the motherboard's compatibility list, likely because it's designed for Intel systems. That’s probably why I’m checking this—other than the overclocking profile, there don’t appear to be any issues with the standard settings. Thanks for your assistance!

It's interesting how consistent these components are across different brands. Every Intel board I've tested supports the EXPO profile, which is essentially the same as iEXPO on MSI or the variations from Gigabyte. The only differences usually come from the overclocking settings and sometimes the heat spreader color. What really counts are the parts themselves, which are nearly identical. You might be surprised to learn that some kits are exclusive to the QVL for specific boards—like this one here: https://www.gskill.com/product/165/390/1...6GX2-TZ5NR. It's worth noting that testing might have been limited for certain products.

I've tried various EXPO RAM configurations on Intel and AMD AM5 boards, but none have caused issues with the overclocking profile. All setups ran smoothly at speeds from 5200MHz to 6000MHz.

Hey! That's one way to say it. I don't want to dwell on all the tens of thousands I've invested over the years. Good luck! If you have more questions or concerns, just tag me or send a direct message. You'll find answers there.

Hello! Your choice remains the same. Both options are identical in terms of components. The staff at Canada Computers confirmed the RAM model matches, so you can proceed confidently.
