I experienced this problem three times today. - The screen freezes completely in the browser or game - Restarting often reveals a black screen, requiring multiple attempts - After restarting, the AMD driver icon disappears and my second screen becomes unresponsive In Device Manager it states: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers needed for this device. (Code 31) Operation Failed. It's worth mentioning I've already taken several steps to prevent Windows from overwriting the driver via updates or registry changes, so I believe my options are limited. I've already performed two full reinstalls using the AMD driver cleaner and installed the WHQL driver, but nothing has resolved the issue. I've encountered similar issues before but they weren't as intense. I don't know what changed; I recently upgraded to Windows 11, but haven't faced this problem for weeks now and it's resurfacing again... EDIT - Added errors and xml log when attempting driver installation... log.xml

I managed to get things running now. Restarted in safe mode and completed the cleanup. It failed again with errors like open XML files. After another restart, I manually booted into safe mode and ran the process once more—this time it succeeded. I removed the entire C/AMD folder, reinstalled version 22.9.1 with the reset feature turned on (found in a dropdown), and lowered the GPU voltage while putting the CPU in eco mode via Ryzen Master. After a short game session, it didn’t crash, though it’s still early to confirm stability. Just hoping it works.
