Hello everyone! I have some queries regarding the latest driver for my RX 580.
I encountered issues with WoW (constants crashes), so I replaced old drivers and installed the newest ones from scratch.
Is there a distinction between installing "driver's only" versus a full setup? Does this relate to temperature concerns? Specifically, could either method affect the GPU or CPU temperatures?
Currently, while gaming at medium settings, my GPU hits 70°-75° and my CPU (i5 12400f) reaches nearly 80°, dropping to 68°-73°. I’m unsure if these temperatures are optimal, especially since both have cooling systems.
From ARG, the room temperature is around 24°C.
Any suggestions on ways to slightly reduce the heat? I’m planning to save money until summer arrives and replace coolers then.

Drivers only doesn't set up the Adrenalin control panel. Within it, you can modify settings such as voltage, power, and fan speeds. Reducing the maximum voltage (undervolting) should help it run cooler and increase fan speed. How outdated is the Rx 580? If more than 2-3 years have passed, it might require a complete refill with fresh paste and thermal pads.

I assembled and built the whole PC in February 2023, except for the GPU which is a bit outdated. I only performed dust cleaning and cooler maintenance during major updates in WoW or when servers were down. I spend a lot of time cleaning it up each day. 😄
Thanks for your reply as well! The card is older than three years—about four years now. My main concern was the CPU temperatures; playing WOW (which is very CPU-intensive) at 30%-40% load can reach 80°C, especially in winter. I can't picture it in summer 😅.
I’ll try again before making a full GPU replacement during the upcoming summer.
