Question. Exist problems with AMD CPUs and MSI motherboards? Particularly with the AMD R7 9800X3D connected to the MSI X670E Gaming Plus WiFi? The issue is that when I enter "Safe Mode" and restart, the system doesn't come back online, requiring me to remove the battery and reset it again, only to have to reinstall Windows once more. The same occurs during BIOS updates. Thank you.

Are there any problems with AMD CPUs and MSI motherboards?
The concern you mention isn't related to Asus, MSI or Gigabyte boards, but rather ASRock ones.
The problem arises because the system doesn’t restart properly when entering "Safe Mode" and rebooting.
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide complete system specifications.
List them clearly as: CPU, CPU cooler, Motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, PSU, Chassis, OS, Monitor.
Include the age of the power supply along with its make and model.
Also mention the current BIOS version for your motherboard.
The issue occurs because restarting from Safe Mode causes the system to fail to reboot; removing the battery and resetting it is necessary before reinstalling Windows.
Have you replaced an older operating system drive?
Regarding the OS installer, where did you obtain it from?
The same situation appears when trying to update the BIOS on your motherboard.
You should flash the BIOS to the latest version before using the 9800X3D.

The system is within thirty days of being installed. You inquired about updating the BIOS, right after experiencing a failure. That's why you brought it up initially. Also, with all due respect, why would you require full system details, aside from the PSU which is a Corsair RM 1200x Shift 80 Plus Gold?

We must understand which components require more effective evaluation to identify issues with the PC. Are there any personal details about your setup that you prefer not to disclose? Otherwise, this follows the usual procedure for receiving complimentary assistance from skilled experts.
Please verify the BIOS version you are using and the update method you attempted.

In general, no, but this depends on having a reliable AMD 9800X3D CPU, MSI X670E Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, and the most recent BIOS update. There are various ways to install a new BIOS, and I need more details about your PC to identify the exact problem. Would you like me to explore many possible scenarios that could explain this issue?

For the BIOS update, I saved the changes onto a flash drive, linked it to my device, restarted it to access the BIOS settings, and completed the update within that interface.

If the BIOS update succeeds, try installing Windows and see if it works without the BIOS update. Share the outcomes here.
