AMD Adrenaline keeps applying a weird filter/setting to CS2 and i cant find anything to revert it
I recently received my new GPU, a 6800xt, and it functions perfectly. However, whenever I launch AMD Adrenaline's software, my CS2 brightness becomes unusual and the menu colors shift. For example, the startup screen used to be bright orange to yellow, now it's a darker orange closer to red, and the menus appear dark instead of vibrant. I've tried several solutions: isolating settings in Adrenaline, disabling color enhancement, adjusting brightness in the game, and increasing brightness from Adrenaline. The game runs normally without any filters or Adrenaline effects once I close the software.
Color enhancement is available. Ensure it isn't set solely for CS2, as global controls might override it, but it should work in this game.
It would be helpful to see the Adrenaline settings directly from the overlay menu while playing. That way you can confirm the correct configuration for the game.
I just tried and didn't get anything. I turned off all the color effects I saw :0
It might seem like the best approach is to remove existing drivers using DDU and then install fresh ones, hoping they’ll be disabled automatically. I believe it’s worth giving it a shot (provided Adrenaline is handling this, not another issue).
After spending countless hours in the adrenaline software, I discovered the real reason behind the issue—it wasn’t related to color settings at all. The GPU preset was set to gaming mode, and whenever I changed anything, the games would automatically launch with a filter applied, even when color settings remained consistent across presets.
