I’m considering the Trident Z Neo 3600mhz CL16 memory kit with the 5600x configuration. It looks promising based on Steve Burks benchmarks. I’m aware the main goal was to contrast an 8x2 versus 8x4 setup and highlight the benefits of the larger size. While the ideal frequency is around 4000mhz, the cost remains a concern. Would it make sense to wait for prices to drop before targeting that speed? I’m also curious about the availability on Black Friday at Newegg—could be a good time to secure it. Thoughts?

The T Z Neo is close to the top Samsung B-die and can be overclocked to 3800 or 4000 easily if your CPU chip supports it. (My Ripjaws V works fine, but my Ryzen 3600 uses lower-end chips, making it unstable above XMP.)
