Hello, I'm checking if the Ryzen 3300X fits with the B450 (max) models that got a BIOS update for 3rd generation support. Would I need a B550 motherboard instead? Thanks!

many BIOS versions include the newest support for Ryzen 3rd gen processors. however, it’s wise to check thoroughly before purchasing. most boards from trusted manufacturers come pre-updated.
