No AM5 board currently offers 2 x16 PCIe x16 connections at full bandwidth with Gen 3 speeds. While the platform provides ample lanes, a model matching this exact setup hasn't been released yet. You might not need the Threadripper upgrade, especially since this generation is more affordable.

Not sure of any match, even the top options aren't listed. It's an x8/x8 model, but it supports PCIe Gen 5.

It would have been better if the cards had a full width, but they don’t perform well with less space.

The AM5 CPU/Mobo supports only 32 lanes in this configuration. Using a 2x8 setup is the upper limit before needing to upgrade to threadripper or similar options with additional lanes.

Are you looking for updated network cards? The latest models are Gen 4/5 and maintain identical network performance on x8.

I believe spending more would be better with a newer platform instead of a network card. However, if you're interested, I'm using an X5 Cx555a and an RX 7900 XTX. The Cx555a are relatively affordable used.

What kind of connections are you aiming for? Which devices can you link to transfer data at x5 speeds? Are my findings right, or is this a 100gigabit NIC? If the other side can handle that speed, why are you concerned about the expense of upgrading? Just insert it into an x8 port, a PCIe 3.0 x8 can still manage 50 gigabits… What is your specific purpose?
