Hello everyone, Unraid has been a reliable component in my network setup over the past six months. I'm increasingly seeking better performance from it. It's currently running on an AM4 1700 with 32GB RAM and my older X370 MSI carbon. While it functions adequately, my needs are growing. I've added two NVMe drives, a x4 SAS controller, four HDDs, and two SSDs, and I'm planning further upgrades. I've installed an extra NIC to enable lag reduction, added a second graphics card for VM and docking station acceleration. This is where I encounter challenges. Presently, I require three active x16 ports—two for VGA and one for the SAS controller. Because of my dual M.2 drives, I can't utilize the lowest x16 slot or find a workaround. The current slots aren't designed to support both x16 and x4 simultaneously (using an 1050Ti and Mobility Radeon 5430 would work). I'm searching for a fix to unlock a third x16 port, allowing me to run two VGA cards alongside the SAS controller and the M.2 drives. Alternatively, I need a motherboard that accommodates all these components without excessive cost. For your help would be greatly appreciated! P.S. My existing case doesn't allow converting a single x1 slot into multiple x16 slots or vice versa.
