It's quite surprising given the price you typically expect. The amount of plastic used gives it a tidy appearance, yet the components are on par with more affordable options.

For models targeting B450, MSI is a solid choice due to its strong performance. The A320 offers impressive power, while the A3200 might be a tough sell under $100US. If you're looking for value, consider a used X370 or X470.

I'm not sure where you're from, but I've used these setups without any issues. You mentioned using Ryzen 1800x with B350 tomahawk, B450 tomahawk Ryzen 3600 with B450 tomahawk, Ryzen 3600x with X470 gaming plus, and B450 tomahawk max. You don't need to invest heavily in a board—just avoid buying a cheap A320 model and you should be okay. Your plan is for a 65-watt CPU that won't overclock, so it's not necessary to go overboard here. Just steer clear of the low-end boards.

Check the dimensions, port type, and RAM options. Also consider the Asrock B450M Pro4 (µATX) or the X370 Pro4 (ATX).

These MSI "MAX" models include third-generation features right away, which is why I often suggest them.
