I purchased a Ryzen 5 3600 tray and spent a day testing profiles for CTR. I saved the settings and rebooted to test functionality. Each time the OS started, I used HWinfo64 to check voltage spikes, which ranged from about 1.413V to 1.43V, even reaching 1.425V. I think this is normal behavior for the stock Ryzen—voltage fluctuations occur once programs start and remain stable in Task Manager. CTR only activates after loading, and resetting HWinfo during startup eliminates the spike. Could this early voltage variation lead to issues later? Regarding the new peak at 1.35V across all cores, some consider it safe while others warn against 1.325V as the upper limit for Ryzen 3000 models.

Spikes between 1.4-1.5V are typical for Ryzen processors. The voltage shouldn't remain at that level for extended periods. In short, don't permanently set the constant voltage above 1.4V in the BIOS; otherwise it's acceptable.

Considering a steady burst of 1.35V at clock speeds of 4375, 4450, and 4500 MHz. These are the upper limits; the earlier two come from the P2 profile, and the 4500 MHz value is from the PX high-profile setup.

1.35V is completely acceptable. It's perfectly okay to utilize it as a fixed voltage reference.

Thanks, there is little to no info whether to use the PX profile because 1 part of the results say PX is only for Zen 3. Got no results if they got it running on Zen 2, and if I deactivate PX then P2 will not even trigger for medium workloads then it will switch to stock 1.4V idle. Debating on myself whether to use PX profile or not.
