Hello. You're looking for a program like Core Temp that can appear in the system tray and won't trigger security alerts. There are alternatives such as Resource Monitor or Task Manager extensions, or third-party tools designed to monitor system performance without raising antivirus warnings.
Check HWiNFO at http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php and Hardware Monitor at http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html. You can enable them to launch on startup, and HWiNFO remains in the taskbar if you close it.
CPU monitor first, then install the PCMeter add-on—it's a tool for Windows devices.
