I've been using Transmission for a while because its desktop interface is preferable to other torrent clients. It misses some features, such as RSS, and can become unstable with large downloads. Are there other torrent servers with a similar GUI that offer more functionality?

I work with Linux on my server and use Windows 8.1 for gaming and work tasks. It doesn't matter if the server runs Linux or Windows; I set up another VM on my EXSi box. I'm looking for a desktop interface for these tools, but only web interfaces are available. I'm unsure if the ones I see are full desktop clients or just standalone torrent programs like Transmission or uTorrent, which only has a web version.

The tool provided a GUI when I applied it.

Deluge's single-client version functions independently but requires linking to a server or service for proper operation. Installing it on Windows allows connection to a local service generated by Deluge or an external server accessed via the interface.

My picture would be Tixati. It's been my preferred choice for a while now. However, it's just a GUI client with a web interface. It's the top torrent client I've ever encountered!
