I've spent a lot of time with PC and console COD games plus some CSGO. Yeah, the people on consoles aren't exactly mature, but they're not bad either.

Well, CS seems more toxic because it's a competitive game where people play to win, and many get upset when they lose. Yet you can also find many mature players, which I think is tougher in CoD (at least the mature ones or the short time I played seemed mostly kids).

When a match is heavily unbalanced, like 16-2, it clearly isn't a genuine game. Either one side has cheaters or the other is full of skillful players. In either scenario, it's a disappointing experience from my perspective. True GG happens only when both teams are equally skilled, and the win was earned through effort.

I fear the impact of the preemptive GG is overwhelming.

It might be time to set aside the remnants of my CoD titles and try them out once more.

CS:GO has become increasingly competitive over time. This trend has continued since its release in 1999.

Suggesting CS 1.5 is the initial release of the game highlights its early development stage. However, CSGO remains a challenging title, which could contribute to the community's negative atmosphere.
