ALT remains unresponsive throughout playthroughs
Recently my ALT key behaves as though it’s stuck or continuously engaged after a few uses in games, typically for item highlighting. Once it locks, restarting the comp becomes necessary, even on desktop. I’ve confirmed the on-screen keyboard shows ALT pressed blue regardless of actions. Has anyone experienced this problem before? What solutions have been tried? I’ve updated drivers, runched through Windows updates and installed new chipset firmware. Devices: Logitech G910 Mouse; Wireless headphones dongle removed.
I do this, though it's mainly for work. When I'm finished for the day, I can try again and check what occurs. Just need to keep pressing ALT in the game to see if it happens or not.
It seems the mechanism might be damaged internally. This appears to be a mechanical keyboard. Try adjusting the switch or replacing it to see if it resolves the issue.
