Hi,
I have a PC running Windows 11 Pro 22H2 and a laptop with Windows 10 64. I noticed that using OnScreen Keyboard and pressing ALT + PrintScreen doesn’t capture the active window screenshot, just like on the screen keyboard. The same happens with the OnScreen Keyboard itself capturing the entire screen when I press PrntScn. I’m unsure if this is intentional or if there’s something to investigate further. This issue appears in both Windows 11 and 10. No internet searches have helped so far. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tested on my Windows 10 using a screen keyboard, it functioned properly.
Clicking the Alt key and the PrtScn key with the mouse worked.

It seems my initial grasp was off. The onscreen keyboard ALT + Print Screen doesn't capture itself as an active window—it only captures the window currently running behind it. Since there were no open windows, nothing was captured. But once I opened a window and pressed ALT + PrtnSc, it worked!
