i just recently heard of 3.40 for the 800 chipset and i am wondering if there is any news for older chipsets (in my case b650) .

I haven't found any details indicating the update applies to 600 series boards. Reports consistently mention it targets 800 series models. Given the chipsets remain the same, it seems 600 series might be included as well. The focus appears to be on the 800 series first.
