It likely involves malicious software, the antivirus isn't providing much warning, and since it's in the CSGO lounge, it probably acts like a keylogger.

The PC altered the Steam password on another machine—it wasn't a random 16-digit code. I'm good. I have Steam Guard and security questions set up, plus all the necessary tools.
