I was considering Rise of the Tomb Raider or Far Cry: Primal. I'm free to explore other suggestions too.

The player is experiencing a third-person perspective in Tomb Raider, which works well with a gamepad on a TV. Far Cry is presented in first person, requiring keyboard and mouse input on the desk monitor. This distinction is notable given both titles are strong. The author leans toward Tomb Raider but still appreciates Far Cry.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was an excellent title. It remains a narrative-focused experience with no incentive to revisit or finish the tombs after playing. I haven’t played Far Cry 1, 2, 3 or Primal. Still, I tried Far Cry 4 for about twenty minutes and ended up with a headache due to the constantly shifting dynamic environments that made the background shake uncontrollably.

I'd love to get it too! It sounds really fun and great to look at. I own the Tomb Raider game.

It's quite pricey for one game, but you could buy several copies for the same price. Think Path of Exile, Skyrim (the original version), Undertale, Super Meat Boy, and Cities: Skylines.

He is investing in himself, your remark doesn’t add much value. Also, he mentioned having $60 to spend, not that the game must cost exactly that amount.

I wouldn't invest 60 dollars in FC Primal or ROTR... both matches likely have ongoing promotions.
