I've explored every method possible to make my dGPU the primary GPU. So far, nothing has succeeded. My setup uses a Samsung Notebook 9 Pro (NP940X5N-X01US). I often switch between Windows Graphics Settings, search for specific apps, or manually adjust AMD Radeon Software. Is there a way to configure it as the system-wide default for all applications and processes?

You'd prefer this setup because it keeps everyday tasks simple while offloading demanding work to specialized hardware. Basic functions stay smooth in a regular browser, and the system handles intensive games or apps with the extra power dedicated to them.

By default, laptops run light applications that make efficient use of the built-in GPU to conserve energy and reduce heat. When performance demands increase, the system automatically shifts to a dedicated GPU for optimal speed. Maintaining this setup is recommended to preserve battery life.
