It looks like these figures should be significantly higher, such as 500mb/s for a sata drive? Ignore that. The trimmed drive performs much better.

Connecting the drive to another SATA port is possible. The MZ7TY128HDHP refers to a 128GB drive. If you changed the drive from 128GB to 1TB, data from the old drive might still be saved in the registry. Can you provide a screenshot from the Drive Dashboard in Samsung Magician?

It seems you're sharing observations about sorting behavior in Process Explorer, noting that sorting alphabetically is challenging. You suggest checking column headers for sort direction indicators and recommend reviewing process details to identify performance issues. The message also mentions system idle rates and the need to test security tools like Windows Defender or Malwarebytes. The advice emphasizes trial and error to understand the interface better and monitor graphical outputs for spikes.

I removed avg completely and am ready to turn it off if needed. This covers everything I've discovered while attempting to recreate the problem. I'm using Horizon 4, streaming with OBS, possibly with Chrome on or not, and Paint for screenshots. That's all. I hope this helps.

This doesn't appear to work well with your SSD...
