Just set up my PC yesterday and everything functioned properly. This morning I attempted to install the latest drivers and inspect the software for my mouse (VXE r1 pro). When I tried to use it, the pointer disappeared and the mouse entered sleep mode. I tested with other mice, but they didn’t work on this machine—they worked elsewhere. I removed the drivers through Device Manager and restarted, but that didn’t help either. Windows Update doesn’t show any updates for this issue. I even tried restoring my PC to a previous backup, but it didn’t resolve the problem. I’m really hoping the mouse will be back.
System details: Windows 11 64-bit, Thermalright TR-KG850 PSU, Montech Hyper Flow 360 ARGB, Samsung 990 EVO PLUS 2TB M.2 SSD, Lian Li Vector V100 MSI PRO B850-S, Wi-Fi 6E, AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, Kingston Fury 32 GB RAM, XFX 9070xt Swift.
Are the additional mice detected by the device manager after connecting? If not, the problem could relate to the USB controller on the motherboard rather than your drivers. Consider starting the computer in safe mode to check if the mouse cursor appears there.
I would disconnect the power supply, hold the power switch for 10-15 seconds, then keep the CMOS reset button pressed for another 10-15 seconds. When the computer starts up, use the appropriate key to set the best BIOS configuration.

I attempted it but it didn't work. It might help to confirm whether I cleared the CMOS (though I'm not sure if that's what happened). I believe I did it correctly—memory profiling returned to standard mode (previously axmp). Edited December 15, 2025 by Renesh11 Added new info
Three gadgets are shown at the top. Plugging out a mouse port doesn’t change anything. I’ve already tried removing them and restarting, but it didn’t help. Now that I took out the vxe mouse, one of them disappeared from the list. Updated December 15, 2025 by Renesh11
