There are many problems, but they vary between systems. Some users face no issues at all. I’d just wait a while, as there’s an entire year before the free upgrade is available.

The upgrade phase lasts a year. Just wait about a month and the process, important issues, and updated drivers should all be fixed.

Some games I was playing stopped because of it. I only downloaded it through the Xbox streaming app, but it didn't function well at all.

I didn't encounter any issues myself; actually, it resolved many problems for me. The newest NVIDIA driver for Windows 10 also fixed a lot of issues I had before, so aside from my mouse not working right away after the upgrade, everything was fine.
