Nvidia 3080ti搭配Intel I9700k及Corsair水冷水槽
Asus TUF Z390-Plus Gaming电脑
Corsair HX1000
I found out that my GPU temperatures are rising unexpectedly whenever I launch any program, even after adjusting settings and reducing power usage. It’s still increasing despite those changes, but I’m no longer experiencing crashes. I plan to take the card out and do a thorough cleaning.
It's amusing you said that, two colleagues I was working with thought it was due to insufficient paste, but the cards are only two years old. It would be strange for the paste to have disappeared completely, but I'll look into the warranty once I get the receipt.
I understand the need to review your warranty first. It might be more effective to consider repasting your graphic card on a different PC to follow a YouTube tutorial for properly cleaning and repasting an NVIDIA 3080Ti Graphic Card. You may need to reset the motherboard's CMOS by removing the CMOS battery, replacing it after a few minutes, and then reinstalling the graphics card once you complete the repaste process. Ensure all power connections are secure at the PSU and the graphics card before turning on the PSU and checking if the motherboard boots. If it boots, verify the GPU temperatures in the BIOS. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. There are individuals here who are highly experienced with this procedure.
Undervolting gave the GPU a brief pause before overheating, though the temperature rises still happened right away. Changing the fan curve manually didn’t prevent the system from failing. I captured several sensor readings during the game load. It occurred within about 5 seconds of loading, causing corruption and forcing the PC to shut down.
temperatures appear normal and within expected ranges
review of your Suprim X confirms the same temperatures

those temperatures would be acceptable under heavy usage, but the chip reaches maximum temperature immediately when loading any 3D game, and it fails to cool down before crashing completely. I've checked this multiple times now. Such behavior usually means the card needs cleaning or a warranty claim to fix.
