Initially I believed it was my controller, but after testing four different ones, I suspect the problem lies with Windows. It's unclear what steps to take next.

Connect one of the devices, open Device Manager, locate the missing device, and attempt to remove its driver. After that, disconnect and reconnect it to check if the appropriate driver loads automatically. This should help you get started again.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's strange you've tried everything before, especially switching to a different cable which always worked. The controller is functioning normally now, which is good news. The fact that it didn't work over Bluetooth adds an extra layer of mystery, but at least it's working with the new setup. No errors reported—just a bit puzzling, but progress is still there.

It seems the main issue was the low-quality "turtle beach" cable. I’ll steer clear of that brand going forward (I’m still using a Samsung charger cable).
