The high cost comes from not creating something substantial enough for yourself. Those moving from a simple console lifestyle may prefer a PC matching their console size or smaller, and they might avoid building it themselves.
It’s not too bad when you consider marketing angles, the interface, display size, and controller. I believe it’s a solid product—I’d really like to own one so I could keep it in my hometown and use it on my rig during college. The GPU options are either a custom 860M or a 750 Ti; whatever you prefer.
Absolutely, taking all factors into account makes it reasonable. While I wouldn't be interested in purchasing it, it doesn't seem like a poor choice overall.
The GTX 860M performs slightly better than the GTX 750 when proper cooling is applied, especially with GPU Boost enabled, which exceeds my initial expectations.
