i thought sharing this in the forum would make sense. someone mentioned they weren't sure if the laptop supported xmp, which made me think upgrading ram might not be worth it. i’m leaning toward sticking with 2666—maybe boost it to 3200 and squeeze out 2933—but i also worry that if intel knows about xmp usage, it could cancel any warranty. so i might keep it at 2666 to stay safe from aggressive overclocking issues.
