Hey everyone, I noticed a lot of excitement around Alan Wake 2 and thought it was worth getting the first copy on Steam while it was discounted. The issue is that my system isn’t performing well—still drops under 60 on the low setting. I’m running a 6700 XT and a 5600X3D, but here’s the twist: my older gaming laptop with an 1650 had no issues and ran the game smoothly. Anyone have any insights on what might be happening? Also, just to clarify, my drivers are current and other games work fine. Control seems to be running perfectly.

Recent AMD chipset drivers have been uploaded. The newest motherboard BIOS versions are also available.

DXVK helped resolve my Alan Wake 1 problems. There was a shader compilation hiccup, but it mostly disappeared after an hour of playthrough.
