Air vs water cooling
Air vs water cooling
I have two coolers to consider for my Intel 6600k (overclocking). Both reach around 50 degrees Celsius, cost similarly, and I need the best cooling performance. The options are:
The cryorig H5 ultimate,
And
The Antec Kuhler H2O 650.
Which should I choose and why?
9th version:
So... Is that an improvement over the H5 ultimate?
I wouldn't expect to see more than one or two degree differences between them.
They're both decent.
Water cooling helps maintain lower temperatures, particularly when you're overclocking.
I was also thinking about it, and I plan to bring up the air cooler again for that same reason.
i don't have much knowledge about that water cooler, but the h100i is recommended for heavy overclocking. however, if you're not pushing it to 4.6-4.8, an air cooler should suffice.
Which cooler would you suggest falling within the $40 to $55 price range?
