HELLO GUYS I JUST PURCHASED A RYZEN 2600X AND WANT TO UPGRADE IT. I DON'T WANT A LIQUID AIO BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THEM MUCH. CAN YOU SUGGEST AN AIR CPU COOLER FOR EXTREME OC? IS THE DARK ROCK PRO 4 SUITABLE FOR EXTREME OC(4GHZ)?

The Dark Rock 4 works well as a cooler. I own one on my 2600 without an overclock, and in my setup I usually idle at around 28c, which is about 6 degrees above ambient temperature. In the games I play, it never exceeds 40°C. It's not an inexpensive option, but it looks good. If your main goal is achieving 4GHz, you don't need the 2600 model—just get the 2600 and upgrade to 4GHz instead.

It's simple to achieve 4ghz using the built-in cooler.

The Dark Rock 4 works well as a cooler. I own one on my 2600 without an overclock, and in my setup I usually idle around 28c, which is about 6 degrees above ambient. Even when gaming, it never exceeds 40°C during the games I play. It's not an inexpensive option, but it does have a nice appearance.

If your main goal is to achieve 4GHz performance, you don't need the 2600 model. Just get the 2600 and upgrade to 4GHz instead.

The Dark Rock 4 works well as a cooler. I own one on my 2600 without an overclock, and in my setup I usually idle around 28c, which is about 6 degrees above ambient. Gaming keeps it under 40°C during the games I play. It's not inexpensive, but it looks great.
However, if your main goal is a 4GHz processor, you don’t need the 2600x. Just get the 2600 and save money, then upgrade to a 4GHz model.
OH I already have the 2600X... Will the Dark Rock 4 be able to reach 4.2 GHz? And since it's hot here in India, how will it compare to a liquid AIO in terms of cooling performance?

Chris asks about the Dark Rock 4 performance and cooling capabilities. He mentions using a 2600 without overclocking, maintaining stable temperatures around 28°C, and notes it handles high temperatures well. He also inquires whether the Dark Rock 4 can reach 4.2 GHz and if it would be more efficient than a liquid AIO cooler in India's hot climate.
