Hi, I'm Jerry here, trying to be a PC gamer. I have a Gen 5 Pentium and a GTX 750 Ti. I know it's not great, but I've got an old Dell and installed a GTX 750 Ti inside. Right now I'm working on a job, so I need to figure out how much I should spend and what parts I'll need for games like Battlefield 1, Overwatch, Fallout 4, and Minecraft. Let me know if you can help!

The ideal range is around 700-1200 dollars. More funds usually mean better performance, but past $1200 the value of components drops; you're getting less return per dollar spent. Aim for a solid quad-core processor and a mid-range graphics card. If you share your budget, I can put together a parts list for you.

An 800 bucks can provide a solid 1080p setup, but if you're open to used options the price can fall to around 250 dollars.

It depends on the resolution, FPS, and graphics preferences you choose.

What's your spending plan? A Core i5 6500, GTX 1060, and 16 GB RAM look solid. Make sure to pair it with a compatible case, PSU, and MOTHER board.

I understand this clearly, but returns drop at such low levels.

If you have the budget, consider including a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO.
