Hey, I just completed setting up my PC and decided to run a stability test using AIDA64. I haven’t done any overclocking, just enabled SAM and AMD EXPO. In about 3 minutes the temperature reached 92°C. Here are the specs: CPU – R7 7800X3D stock, motherboard – MSI B650 gaming plus Wi-Fi cooler, GPU – RX 7800 XT stock, RAM – 32GB kit Corsair Vengeance 6000MT/s. Is my cooler sufficient? I spread a lot of thermal paste and both CPU fans are spinning, pushing air through the front and out the back. Idle temps sit between 35 to 40°C.

You ran a stress test using an air cooler that’s functioning well. Reaching 92°C is suitable for both the cooler and the CPU. Trying a Core offset of -25 in BIOS might improve thermal performance slightly.

Sure, everything seems normal now. I was really surprised by the 92 in just three minutes, but it makes sense. Thanks!
