Hello
I'm considering swapping my stock cooler for an AIO on a gigabyte b450-m with a ryzen 7 2700x. My Corsair spec-omega case doesn't allow more than 140mm radius, and I'd rather avoid buying another one for looks. I was thinking of mounting the radiator on the top and also on the opposite side of the top mesh (just a perforated metal), which would leave enough space for the fans. I'm still checking if it's possible to connect the cables to the fan controller and wondering about any performance impact if this setup works. Anyone have experience with this kind of configuration?

The review discusses the fan placement in that model. They mention that after removing the top plastic panel, the top panel is completely vented and accommodates two 120mm or two 140mm fans.

Even with the AIO installed at the top, you'll still need to adjust the fans to expel the air because warm air tends to rise. Which AIO are you using? I've dealt with its relative, the Spec-O4 TG, and the front can accommodate a 360mm radiator.

Even with the AIO installed at the top, you'll need to adjust the fans to expel the air out because hot air rises naturally. Which AIO are you using? I've dealt with its relative, the Spec-O4 TG, and the front can accommodate a 360mm radiator. I'd rather not place one in front as it wouldn't look as good. Also, I had to move my HDD trays to the side so a 360 wouldn't fit (though a 280 might still work...). Right now I'm considering Corsair models like the H100i or H115i, though nothing is finalized yet.
