You're dealing with performance tweaks on your i9-10850K. To prevent packet loss while playing COD MW3, you've boosted both CPU and RAM speeds. Although your CPU supports 2933MHz, it's running at 2133MHz by default. You've also overclocked the RAM to match. Despite this, occasional freezes occur even after resetting everything to factory settings. Pressing the case restart button triggers different outcomes: immediate shutdown, delayed shutdown with peripherals first, or recovery attempts after longer delays. You're looking for a lasting fix and have updated your PC parts list regularly since 2021.

I believe I resolved the issue. Switching everything to ratios worked and it’s no longer freezing.
