Looking for updates brings you direct links to the latest releases. Also, you can find the "Get Office" tiles in the Program Files folder. Reinstalling might help, but the changes could be intentional.

Just re-set those shortcuts, though it seems it didn’t work. Was it a 2013 release or something newer like 2015?

Professional Plus is a dedicated setup. I shouldn’t have to go through that process. Picture someone who upgraded and got confused about their workspace? No other shortcuts were deleted, even though it appears in the installed list—it vanishes when you search or browse for installers. This feels deliberate, pushing me toward buying new software and unsettling me.

It’s the first day of the new OS launch. The release seems to have some issues. Honestly, Microsoft doesn’t appear to be planning a smooth rollout for workstations—waiting a few weeks might have helped catch more problems.

I'm really frustrated. Ten installed without asking. I downloaded it, left it overnight, planned to check my SSD first before jumping back to version 8, but somehow ended up with ten. I don't understand how this happened. Now I can't find any of my apps—searching always returns errors. It might not just be an office issue.

I can't directly post screenshots. However, you can describe the error clearly so I can help you identify it or guide you through resolving it.

When I attempt to search, only online results appear. Selecting my items now affects everything. I’m forced to scroll through the app menu. Even basic features like paint worked just a few hours ago.

That's quite unusual. Since I haven't played Windows 10 yet, I can't verify it directly. You might want to review Cortana preferences and settings within the Settings app, and if needed, perform a clean installation.

This message indicates a system scan initiated by Microsoft Windows, confirming all checks are complete and resources are secure. It mentions some corrupt files were detected but couldn't be repaired, with logs available for review. Logging functionality isn't active during offline maintenance.

This seems related to missing an image, and you're attempting DISM now.
