I just upgraded my CPU and motherboard from an Intel i3-7100 + MSI h110m pro-d to a Ryzen 5 3600 + Gigabyte B550i Pro Aorus Pro XFX rx580. After connecting everything and turning it on, all the lights came on, fans started spinning, and I saw the Aorus logo for a second. Then it went to "no signal" and hasn't worked since. I've checked the CPU and GPU placement, looked for bent pins, verified cables, and even tried different outputs. Nothing is working. Full specs: Ryzen 5 3600, Gigabyte B550i Aorus Pro XFX rx580, 8GB Corsair RAM at 3000MHz. I've looked in other forums but most were about BIOS updates. I don't know what to do with my machine yet.

It seems the device won't power on at all now. That’s unusual. It might be a dead motherboard (arrived without power). Test your parts on the original motherboard and CPU to confirm functionality (PSU, RAM, GPU, etc.). If that’s true, you likely have a faulty motherboard or CPU. Motherboards are more prone to failure than CPUs. Good luck!

It's activating. For example, lights turning on and fans spinning. However, no screen output appears.

It seems the motherboard might be faulty unless the parts are confirmed to be in good condition. Consider sending it back or filing a return request with Gigabyte.

A little bit late. Your Intel platform requires only 4-pin CPU, where as the new AMD board requires 8-pin CPU. Not familiar with the CX450M, but check if the CPU is getting sufficient power.

Based on online research, the Corsair CX450m features an 8-pin CPU connector that is likely divided into two sections. With the Intel setup, only one half is connected, but with the AMD configuration, both halves must be used. Ensure both are properly plugged in.
