This occurred following the final Windows 10 release. The PNG icon displays correctly, while the JPEG icon does not. Additionally, the "Search Windows" bar appears completely black. I don’t recall this being the situation previously, but it’s uncertain.

Revert the latest changes and reinstall the update, please. I hope this resolves the issue.

Navigate to Settings, then Update & Security, Recovery, and select "Return to an earlier build."
