I feel like the cheapest option would be just to buy new fans, what's your full system specs, including case and current fans

The issue stems from using the same Windows version. The old installation left behind drivers, files, and other remnants, making a fresh setup advisable to avoid future problems. A single RAM stick can significantly slow down performance on Ryzen processors. Regarding fans, they are likely 4-pin or 3-pin models; you may need to adjust their PWM or DC fan settings manually. Be sure not to connect them to the pump header.

It seems I might have missed the chance to switch to DC mode manually. Maybe I made a mistake. I’ve already sent the parts back, but now I understand better. Thanks! Also, I just did a clean Windows install.

I purchased another motherboard and reviewed the manual prior to buying to confirm it offered a DC fan mode (it seems not all entry-level boards do). It now operates very quietly, and I'm extremely satisfied! Thanks for the feedback.

Appreciate the response. The environment is much calmer now with the new motherboard installed and its features activated.

Great job figuring it out. Have fun with your PC! Remember, not all manuals come with everything you need.
