No response after the black screen crash. After exiting, the game froze and displayed a black screen. Occasionally, when starting the program, I could still hear my friends on Discord. This occurred multiple times over two weeks. I managed to resolve it through troubleshooting steps up to today. I’m confident my temperatures were normal, and I regularly check them using the hwmonitor OSD.
Here are the steps I’ve tried according to a recommended guide:
- Verify all power cables are securely connected.
- Ensure auxiliary power connectors are properly attached.
- Confirm the cable from your monitor is firmly linked to both the graphics card and the monitor.
- Check that your power supply can handle the full system load.
- Test booting the system with only a monitor and no other devices connected.
Please note:
- Test your monitor on another computer.
- Double-check all connectors and cables are firmly plugged in, re-seating if needed.
- Ensure RAM, CPU, and GPU are securely connected, re-seating as necessary.
Try clearing CMOS and booting with only a motherboard, CPU, and one RAM stick (or GPU if available).
Make sure your RAM functions correctly by testing on another machine.
Confirm the RAM matches your CPU and motherboard specifications.

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Motherboard: Asus EX A320M GAMING (AM4)
- RAM: 8GB DDR4 3000
- Storage: 500 GB Lexar NM610 SSD M.2 NVME
- PSU: Seasonic S12III 550W
- GPU: Palit GTX 1650 Super StormX OC
Note: My GPU experienced fan issues, so I opted for a shroudless design and added a case fan for cooling. Temperatures stayed between 80-82°C during triple-A games, dropping to 60-80°C otherwise.
Looking for advice on fixing or replacing components as a final option.
