Hello, I recently purchased an R5 7600 with an ASRock b650m Pro RS. The motherboard came with BIOS version 1.21 and everything seems normal. However, whenever I attempt to upgrade to a newer BIOS version, the TP-Link Archer T5E Wi-Fi card stops working—seems like it won’t connect at all. It works fine with Bluetooth. I’ve removed and reinserted the card from Device Manager, tried resetting settings, but nothing changes. I’ve tested every BIOS version above 1.21 without success. Reverting to BIOS 1.21 resolved the issue. It looks like a setting might be disabling or interfering with the PCIe slot, but I can’t identify it. Any suggestions?

Start by unplugging and then plugging it back in multiple times, as the BIOS might require clearing old data before identifying the device again.

Sometimes relocating to a different slot or reinstalling drivers causes issues, leading to normal breaks or unexpected problems

Attempted to reinstall the drivers, but it failed. Changing slots isn't an option because the motherboard only has two x16 slots, and the lower one is the one for x4.

Have you checked the newest beta release of BIOS 1.30.AS02 from their support site? I’m facing the same problem on the same motherboard but using a different Wi-Fi card. I haven’t used the beta version yet, so I’m worried it might cause more issues.
