I'm switching my motherboard to B450 Steel Legend from ASRock. The GPU isn't showing anything. However, with GTX 1060 and GT 740 connected via HDMI, it works properly. In Device Manager, both cards are detected. I can play games in pass-through mode using the GT 740. I've tried this setup on other PCs, and the GTX 1060 functions well. But only with the GT 740 does it display. It seems the GTX 1060 struggles on this particular board.

Have you considered inserting the 1060 into the highest PCIe port and skipping the 740?

I changed the PCI slot several times and updated the BIOS. Still nothing appears.

It's likely the HDMI connections aren't working properly on the 1060. If you really need a display output, a workaround with pass-through would be acceptable.

If the 1060 runs on another machine, likely the driver issue is the cause. Current Nvidia updates are unreliable, making it uncertain whether reinstalling Windows will help—you might need to start fresh. Another option is to boot from a Ubuntu live USB and verify the device works. This confirms if the hardware itself is defective. Good luck!
