After replacing the motherboard, the system fails to respond.
Hello everyone, I changed my motherboard today because it was still not functioning properly. I ordered a replacement from Gigabyte, specifically the B760M DS3H AX model. After installing it this evening, I powered on the system and noticed it kept stuck in a blinking light sequence between the DRAM and CPU LEDs. The EZ Debug LEDs were active, but one of the memory sticks' RGB lights weren't working. I shared a photo here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/a9Xg1Fe7J6Zn53sv9. I also updated the BIOS using Q Flash to the latest version for CPU compatibility, since my system uses a 14th Gen i3 14100 and the other board worked without issues. The problem seemed related to NVMe rather than CPU or memory.
I verified there were no problems by testing both the RAM and CPU on the faulty board.
I can't verify this completely since I don’t have the necessary resources, but the problem with the defective board was about NVMe, not RAM or CPU, and I managed to share and install the operating system afterward.
Fascinating... I installed the RAM stick I removed (the one without the RGB lights) into the slot where the RGB was active, and the light came on with that stick. It seems the RAM works differently depending on its position on the board, even though the same stick has RGB in another slot. Clearing CMOS didn't resolve the issue.
You're unsure about the meaning, it's just an i3 14100 Retail model. My issue started with a speaker, so I connected it to check for a beep code. I received five beeps, which according to TechNewsToday indicates a general processor error.
It seems you haven't adjusted your bios properly. Please try again.
