I recently upgraded my PC by installing a new case after about a year of use. I only modified the case and fans. After finishing the build, the system would boot without Windows but would reset BIOS settings. Since then, I've noticed several odd issues. Normally, I shut down the PC at night and it would work for about ten minutes before problems arose. Then, a few symptoms would appear: 1) The PC would shut down completely, requiring unplugging and letting the PSU capacitors discharge before reconnecting. 2) Audio would become distorted, followed by the first case occurring again after a while. Additionally, the mouse would stop working and flicker, but fixing it by plugging it back in resolved the issue. Once these problems appeared, I unplugged the power cable and restarted the PC, which functioned normally for days afterward. I'm puzzled by these occurrences. Initially, I thought a grounding issue on the motherboard might be the cause, but it didn't explain why the system would work afterward. I also considered a PSU fault, though that seemed unlikely after reassembly. I checked cables, grounding points, Windows logs, and even tried entering BIOS, but no software glitches were found. At this point, I suspect a more technical problem, possibly related to the motherboard or power supply. My specs are: Asrock H570M Pro4, Intel Core i5-10400F, Nividia RTX 2070, Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB DDR4-3000, Cooler Master MWE Bronze v2 600W, Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 250GB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 rpm, Windows 10 Pro 21H2 (OS build 19044.2364), BIOS version 2.0. I was fine in just two days already. Probably the BIOS update worked, or maybe unplugging and plugging back in the 24-pin connector helped. Either way, it seems like the issue is resolved.
