Hey everyone, I'm experiencing a problem with my system. Sometimes when I turn it off, it restarts every 15 seconds or so. After powering it back on, I unplug it, inspect the connections, and try to boot it again. It usually works, but it's not a permanent fix. Do you have any suggestions? Feel free to share more details if helpful. Thanks!

Details: Intel I5 8400 CPU, MSI B550 motherboard, 2x16GB RAM, GTX 1050 Ti GPU, Corsair vs550 PSU, WD green NVMe SSD, 480GB NVMe SSD, 1TB HDD. I stopped the machine at the end of the night and turned it back on. When I powered it up again, fans started spinning and I heard a whirring sound, followed by a sudden shutdown until I flipped the PSU switch. This behavior is unusual and confusing for me.

Some weird motherboard quirk. My last board would start the cpu fan about half the time from a cold boot, and had some other idiosyncrasies. You can live with it or replace the board.
