Hey everyone, I'm working on boosting my CPU's speed. The temperatures were ideal before I started overclocking, but now they're way higher than usual after reaching 41 and 1.32 volts.

On the first photo you can observe my temperatures before the overclocking were at 42 under full load, while after it rose to 100.

Despite enabling gaming boost, it still requires a 1.32 boost to reach 4.1 overclocking.

Older auto-overclocking tools perform poorly. Consider setting the voltage to 1.3V and checking stability. Voltage increases power use and heat output quickly. You mentioned you verified everything is installed, but did you also take off the sticker from the cooler’s bottom before mounting it?

It would be unusual for the cooler to manage 1.32v when all systems are functioning properly. This older component might have experienced issues with the toothpaste drying out beneath the IHS.

I switched to mx-4 thermal paste. Now at 100% load, 1.32 GHz it handles up to 60°C. Previously, with Artic Silver 5, I reached 30-37°C after two days.
