System specs include an AMD 5600x CPU and a GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6800 graphics card. The motherboard is a GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Elite with Wi-Fi, and the PSU is Corsair CP-9020179-NA RMX Series RM750x 80 Plus Gold. RAM is Corsair VENGEANCELPX16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18. The case used Lian-Li LANCOOL II Mesh Performance. During the move, the system fell onto a thick carpeted area and now won’t display. It was fully assembled in a box with extra foam, but no extra protection for the graphics card or internal parts. The issue seems to be that the display isn’t showing despite booting. The CPU fan and GPU RGB light work, but there’s no visible output. I’ve tried re-seating the graphics card, checking RAM, verifying all cables, resetting CMOS, and confirming the display port cable is connected correctly. I haven’t re-seated the CPU yet because it seemed to fit well before. I can’t see any LEDs, speaker, or LCD on the motherboard.
Also verify that all power cables are securely attached by removing and reinserting them on both sides. Test the system without any mechanical hard drive, unless an SSD can withstand significant stress. Only proceed after completing a detailed check for any physical damage.
That suggests the power is heading to the devices. It seems like it could be the GPU or the motherboard, but I’m not confident enough to say for sure.
